The centers will be closed for Winter break, from Monday December 19th through Sunday, January 1st, with administrative staff available Monday, December 26th through Friday, December 30th.

Affordable Sunday SAT Class, now with price cut

Sylvan Learning Center's Annual Sunday SAT Preparation Course will begin on Sunday, January 15th, 2012 1:00-4:30 pm at the 70th Street & Shea Center. This is a 50-plus hour course and will run each Sunday during the months of January through April. There will be NO class on April 8, 2012 (Easter Sunday). Enrollment will be limited. Ayone interested in signing up or obtaining additional information, please contact either of our two centers as soon as possible.

ACT/SAT preparation program

The Scottsdale Sylvan Learning Centers offer ACT and SAT preparation classes all year. These classes can be worked around the student's schedule.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE AWARDS:

At the 2011 National Sylvan Conference there were four awards given to the Scottsdale Centers:

• Top 10 College Prep Revenue
• Top 10 Math Revenue
• Platinum Award - (Territory Excellence Award)

According to Doug Grindstaff, Vice President of Franchise Growth and Services, the 2010 Sylvan Learning Annual Conference held in Nevada, during the week of August 30 to September 3, gave the national corporation a chance to recognize the outstanding achievements of the many talented professionals in the Sylvan Learning Centers. These professionals work hard on a daily basis to impact positively the life of each Sylvan student. He stated, "The nominees and winners are chosen from a globally diverse pool of franchisees after careful review and discussion of their considerable accomplishments. These individuals represent the finest that Sylvan has to offer."

QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW:

Sylvan Learning Corporation conducts Quality Assurance Reviews on all Sylvan Learning centers. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Review is to ensure that the guidelines for all Sylvan programs are properly implemented and adhered to according to the prescribed Sylvan standards.
